Compare two aiming drills without guessing.
Record your own hits and shots from two sessions. See the hit percentage and the change in percentage points; then ask whether the task, distance, input method and target behavior stayed comparable. A number can describe an observation without proving that a setting caused it.
Hit percentage answers only one question
Hits divided by shots tells you the share of shots recorded as hits. It does not count damage, target difficulty, movement quality, survival or decision-making. Hitting many easy stationary targets is not directly comparable to shooting fewer moving targets while taking cover.
When session B looks better, repeat the comparison on a different day. If you also changed graphics settings, sensitivity, display mode and weapon class, you will not know what mattered. If you feel pain or fatigue, stop and rest instead of chasing a number.
A practice note you can use after each session
Game and version / platform and input / drill / target movement / shots / hits / one change / what felt different / next test. Keep the notes yourself. This calculator does not save or upload them.
When shots seem delayed or the whole picture stutters, read our performance diagnosis flow or controller input-delay checklist before changing aim sensitivity again.
